Health minister Khader should apologise for pictures of God Narasimha in TB control posters: Muthalik
Mangaluru: Founder president of Sri Rama sena Pramod Muthalik who was in the city to attend court hearing at JMFC 2 court related to the 2009 pub attack addressed a press meet at Aryasamaj Bhavan on Thursday June 11.
Speaking to the press persons Muthalik said, the state government has hurt the feelings of Hindus by printing the picture of God Narasimha in the TB control posters. He also held health minister U.T Khader responsible for this and said he should apologise for this and withdraw the printed posters.
Continuing his allegations Muthalik said, Dr Nadeem Ahammed is the officer to control the TB and it is his strategy to use Hindu god. This is a blunder. These types of insults to Hindu gods have begun after the Siddaramaiah government assumed the power in state. Attack on Hindu community, religious scriptures, gods and saints have been continuing. And this act of portraying the 'Narasimhas’ in TB control poster is a blunder he said.
