If scuttlebutts are to be believed, then it's learnt that Bollywood's 'Dabangg' Salman Khan won't be signing any new films now.

Well, as per a report in Hindustan Times, Salman, who is currently shooting  for 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in Kashmir, is waiting for the final verdict in his hit-and-run case and thus, he won't be undertaking any new projects as of now.

Earlier, he had even refused to promote Jammu and Kashmir tourism because of the same reason.

The final verdict in the hit and run case will be out on May 6.

The actor has been accused of killing one and injuring three others, when his car ran into a bakery in Mumbai on September 28, 2002.

If proven guilty, he can be imprisoned for up to ten years.

At the launch of 'Bombay Velvet' trailer, filmmaker Karan Johar unhesitatingly supported Salman and stated that everyone loves the actor and will stand by him

Salman's upcoming films include Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and Sooraj Barjatya's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'.
