JEDDAH — Jeddah Mayor Hani Abu Ras inaugurated on Wednesday the bridge on the intersection of King Fahd Road and Al-Rawada Street at the bicycle roundabout.

Built at a cost of over SR28 million, the two-way bridge is 583 meters long and 13.5 meters wide. The bicycle roundabout project was number 24 on a list that includes multiple bridges and tunnels planned to ease traffic congestion in the city.

The bicycle roundabout project will be followed by work at Al-Falak roundabout. The projects on Al-Siteen Street (King Fahd Road) will ease transportation from King Abdul Aziz International Airport to downtown and the Jeddah Islamic Port.
