New Delhi: In a significant development in the case of a farmer's suicide at an AAP rally here last week, reports claimed on Tuesday that the Delhi Police have been told by two eye-witnesses that Gajendra Singh was instigated into committing suicide.

As per reports, Gajendra was provoked by some people present at the rally to climb the tree.

The rally at Jantar Mantar was held to protest against the Central government's Land Acquisition Ordinance.

Sources say police could now make the two witness in the case.

It is being claimed ever since Gajendra committed suicide last week that he was provoked to take his own life.

His family members in Rajasthan's Dausa have also claimed that Gajendra had come to Delhi to make his voice heard and that he was in touch with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
