Liquid waste management unit inaugurated

Mangaluru:” Every single city in the state will become clean city. State government has plans and projects in this direction”. Said, Mr.Sorake, inaugurating the Liquid waste management unit at Jeppinamogaru today.  This is the third unit and will inaugurate one more in Surathkal next week. To manage waste in cities every day, heavy waste management authority will be established soon he said in the function.

Chief Guest, MLA, J.R.Lobo said thatMangaluru has become NO.1 in Malaria. As a result corporate are not keen to invest in the city which is a draw back to the city. People must not throw garbage here and there. Must help to maintain the city clean.

Gokuldas nayak gave information about the unit 20MLD power project spread across 13 acres. Total cost of this unit is 11 crores and will cover 25-30% of the area.
