Dr. Murali Mohan Chuntaru, new homeguard commandant

Mangaluru: Dr. Murali Mohan Chuntaru has been appointed as the district Commandant of homeguard.

He took the charge as the commandant in the office of the homeguard located in Maryhill in Mangaluru.

Speaking after taking the charge Chuntaru said he will make honest effort to solve the problem if scarcity of staff. He also stated that there is a need to make people learn about the homeguards and said will try to meet the fundamental needs of the homeguard staff.

Chief of homeguard Mohammed Ismail, V. Purushottam and others were present.
