Dead body of drowned youth found in Malpe

Udupi: The dead body of Shivakumar Kuppaluru (22) who had drowned in Malpe beach was found near Malpe Bhajana Mandir on Thursday evening July 30.

Shivakumar Kuppalur, a resident of Hirekerur in Koodupalli in Haveri district had come to Malpe beach along with 13 people. Shivkumar was warned by lifeguards, not to venture into the sea. But he neglected the warning and ventured into the sea and drowned.

Lifeguards and locals searched for him but of no use. On Thursday evening his body was found floating near Malpe Bhajana mandir. Malpe police visited the spot and shifted body to the Udupi Ajjarakadu government hospital, where after postmortem the body was handed over to the family.

Unidentified dead body of a lady found in Payaswini river

Sulya: Dead body of a lady that was found in Payaswini river in Mandekolu has been kept in KVG medical college morgue in Sulya.

The body was found on Monday evening and the lady was wearing saree and pink color blouse. Home guard staff Prabhakar Pai had lifted the body up from the narrow area on information given by the people who saw the body.

The lady is 35-40 years of age and the body is in rotten state. It’s been suspected that she had died a week ago. There is no missing complaint in Sulya police station. That makes sure that the lady does not belong to Sulya premises.

Police have requested to give any information worthy to identify the body of the lady.

Decomposed body of a lady found in Payaswini river

Sullia: A decomposed body of awoman was found in Payaswini river in Alanklya Kodenchikar in Peral in Mandekolu village on Monday July 20.

The saree claded body had black skirt and pink cloured blouse. Locals who noticed the dead body informed the police. Home guard Prabhakar Pai lifted the body from the river.

Police have suspected the lady aged around 35-40 years might have died a week ago. As there is no missing case of a woman filed in Sullia police station police have suspected that the body might ave flown from someother place.

Dead body found inside a tunnel in B.C.Road

Bantwal: a dead body is found in a tunnel near Lions Seva Mandir in B.C.Road on Friday morning. The body id identified as Kasba village Manni Guttu resident Gopalkrishna (40).

The dead person was mentally challenged and used to spend nights out of the house every day told by the family.

He had been missing three times so far and the family had to search him and bring him back home. On Friday too he might have left the home and stayed inside the tunnel. Its suspected that he might have died inside the tunnel.

When local residents came to throw garbage here, they saw the dead body inside the tunnel. And later they informed the police. Police have visited the spot and the body is given to his family.

Case is registered in Bantwal station.

Dead body of Vismaya, who was drowned in the water found

Kundapur: The dead body of 7 year old girl Vismaya Devadiga was found near Nyagalamane Bridge in Chittoor village on Sunday July 12.

Vismaya, daughter of Shekar and Jalaja Devadiga from Sanyasibettu in Maranakatte was a 3rd std student of Maranakatte primary school. On Friday July 10, she was on her way to school accompanied by her mother. While crossing a bridge on Chakra river near Maranakatte Vismaya lost her balance and fell into the river and drowned.

Efforts from locals and the fire squad to find her went in vain. On Sunday locals noticed a deadbody floating near Nyagalamane Bridge and informed the authority. The body was then lifted from the water.

Byndur MLA K. Gopal Poojary visited the spot and assured that the compensation amount of Rs. 4 lakh will be given to the family on next Saturday and also said that a concrete bridge will be built across river Chakra in place of wooden bridge.

The body was handed over to the family after conducting post mortem at Kundapur government hospital.

Dead body of unidentified man found near Mukka check post

Surathkal: Dead body of an unidentified person was found near Mukka check post on national highway here on the morning of Saturday May 16.

Police arrived and inspected the spot. The dead body was full nude and the foul play is suspected behind the death.

Dead body found in Netravati : identification not yet known

Bantwala: In the river Netravati, near Panemngaluru a dead body of a person is found. The person’s identification is not known. He is about 25-30 years of age.

It is suspected that the person might have committed suicide. Case has been registered in the police station and the dead body is kept in the Wenlock morgue.

Hit by Train: person dead

Surathkal: An incident of death by train accident has happened here in Koppala of Haleyangadi.

The person is unknown to the people of Haleyangadi. But they informed the railway police of this death. The dead is aged around 40 years. The body is completely rotten. It is not yet known that when this accident had happened.

Railway police have registered the case and investigating the matter.
