Modi praise: This time Congress MP Vishwanath’s turn

Madikeri:  It looks like praising Prime Minister Modi has become a trend in Congress party. Not worried about the consequences Congressmen are one by one lining up to praise Modi. In a fresh development Former MP and veteran Congress leader, H Vishwanath, said that Modi has seriousness quality which is very important in leading the nation while Rahul Gandhi lacks it.

He was speaking in a press meet here on Monday. He also stated the need of Priyanka Gandhi to get into the active politics and lead Congress party. 'Even in the past, I had taken a strong stance in favour of adopting Priyanka Gandhi as the party leader. Others are now slowly realizing the truth in my stand, and coming out in support of it,' he claimed. He also said that the congress party faced defeat in Maharashtra and Haryana due to anti incumbency factor and not due to Modi wave.

Vishwanath however, said that Narendra Modi was brought to power on the basis of false promises he made through social websites, and not on the basis of popular support. 'During the first 150 days of Modi's administration, conscious citizens of the country have come to realize that his promises were fake,' he analyzed. Earlier Shashi Taroor lost his spokesperson post of Congress party for his continuous praise for Modi.
