Staffs for MMP will be recruited soon: Sorake

Managaluru: Minister Vinayakumar Sorake in a meet said that staffs for Mangaluru Mahanagara Palike will soon be recruited. A report has been already sent to the government. Till then state will recruite staffs on contract basis.

State has plans of upgrading 10 mega cities under ‘Nirmal Nagar’ project, which will work for center’s Swacch Bharath scheme through heavy wastes management technique.

Training sessions are complete for the corporators of Mysore and soon other corporators from other cities will be given training he informed.

Liquid waste management unit inaugurated

Mangaluru:” Every single city in the state will become clean city. State government has plans and projects in this direction”. Waste management outsourcing to new company in Mangalore: Sorake

Mangaluru: Big headache for big cities is management of waste and garbage. But Mangaluru Mahanagara Palike has found a solution to this problem.

First in state, heavy waste segregation will be done under single package system scientifically. And is officially inaugurated by Minister Vinayakumar Sorake.

He said that as soon as RTO gives permission, this scheme will come into immediate action. It is completely machine oriented. Pickup vans will collect wastes from houses then transfer it into the big truck. Where the waste is compressed y telescopic shock absorber.

This technique is used by MMP is first in state and is a model to other cities.

The company will work for 7 years on contract from now. MMP will pay 18 crore rupees every year. And this money will be collected from tax and SES.

At last people can walk freely on roads with their nose open.
