Bank workers strike postponed again
Mangaluru: The strike called by public sector bank employees has been once again postponed. This is the second time the bank strike has been postponed.
The bank employees were threatening to go for a strike against the arrogance of the government. The employees have demanded salary revival and meet other needs.
Earlier the strike was called on January 7, but was postponed after discussion. A four day strike was planned from January 21. Due to Republic day and one Sunday the banks would be closed for six days. But now the bank association has once again dropped the strike on the said day. A new date for the strike will be announced soon, said, the association.
