Birthday party for the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has double reason to celebrate - he is celebrating his 49th birthday and his movie 'Happy New Year' is performing phenomenally at the box office.

The film has already crossed the Rs 100 crore (INR) mark and the entire team is busy celebrating this success with their fans across the country.

Shah Rukh Khan thanked his admirers, who turned up in large numbers to celebrate his birthday outside his residence since last night (Nov 1).

SRK took to Twitter and wrote: "So many beautiful people outside Mannat. Thank you all for celebrating my birthday with such ownership and love. Very humbling."

Wishes from actors have been pouring on Twitter.

Wife Gauri Khan is throwing a lavish party and the industry's who's who have been invited to join them for the occasion.

The guest list so far includes Abhishek and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Adhuna Akhtar, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, Bhavna Pandey, Ritesh Sidhwani, Deepika, Sonu Sood, Farah Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Mallaika Arora, Neelam Kothari and Sameer Soni among others.
