Kapil Sharma, a comedian, actor and now a bollywood singer

Mumbai: Kapil Sharma is not just making his debut in Bollywood as an actor but the stand-up comedian is all set to croon for a film as well.

After showing his singing abilities on his show Comedy Nights With Kapil, he is teaming up with Punjabi singer Dr Zeus for the Bollywood number.

Rapper Fateh Singh also posted a picture with singer Dr Zeus on Twitter.

Kapil Sharma will be next seen in director duo Abbas-Mustan's Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu, which will mark his acting debut.

He was set to make his movie debut with Bank Chor earlier but the comedian and Yash Raj Films parted ways. The comedian later landed a project with Abbas-Mustan.

The multi-starrer comic film is expected to hit theatres during the year end.

Karishma Tanna On Comedy Nights With Kapil Without Upen Patel!

Bigg Boss 8 finalist, Karishma Tanna was seen having a gala time on Kapil Sharma's comedy show Comedy Nights With Kapil. The actress was on the show without her current boyfriend, Upen Patel. Karishma and Upen met and fell in love with each other on the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 8.

The couple have been together from the moment the show ended and have even taken a trip to London for Valentine's Day. But, looks like the couple had to split up for a day since Karishma had to shoot alone for the popular Kapil Sharma show.

The long-legged actress was on the comedy show recently to shoot an episode with Shoiab Malik and Harbhajan Singh. The actress seemed to have had a fun time on the sets, since she was seen laughing her lungs out. Kapil must have known the same reaction will not be coming out of Upen Patel, thanks to his habit of misunderstanding most of what is said in Hindi. Among the Bigg Boss 8 contestants, Gautam Gulati is one who should have been on Comedy Nights With Kapil. Hoping Gauti will grace the show soon enough.

Rumours of comedian Kapil Sharma and Priyanka Chopra’s recent quarrel was taking its toll over the internet. The actors then decided to troll the media by putting an end to these speculations through Tweets!

The talk of the town was that anchor Kapil Sharma got angry and threw his mic on stage when Priyanka Chopra tested his patience.(Oops! Kapil hiked fee for solo live shows?

Mumbai: The grapevine is buzzing with reports that television funnyman Kapil Sharma, who will soon make his Bollywood debut, demanded Rs 75 lakh for a solo live show.

Incidentally, when Kapil and Co staged a comic act for a festival in Uttar Pradesh last year, he had approximately charged Rs 65 lakh, sharing the payment with his teammates. So, the apparent hike in his individual fee has baffled event organizers.

A source says Kapil, who will shortly be jetting off to Malaysia for a show, has been getting a lot of offers for stand-up gigs in India as well as abroad.

“He was approached for a domestic event, but he asked for R75 lakh. Now the organizers are in a dilemma; they want him on board, but have a limited budget. So, they are checking with advertisers and sponsors if they can chip in for such a hefty amount," the source added.

Kapil remained unavailable for comment. Preeti Simoes, co-producer of his comedy show on TV, denies the buzz about him having asked for Rs 75 lakh.
