Crown Prince highlights importance of national unity

Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister this evening visited the Majlises of Sadiq Al Baharna and Taqi Al Baharna, the Majlis of the Kanoo family, and the Majlises of the Al Jishi and Khozaei families.
His Royal Highness noted the strong bonds that exist within Bahrain’s community, and added that these bonds reinforce national identity and contribute to safeguarding the Kingdom’s long term security and stability. His Royal Highness went on to affirm that protecting national security is a vital component of the Kingdom’s development programme.
His Royal Highness further added that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the commitment to promoting unity continues to flourish, highlighting that His Majesty’s ongoing engagements with the citizens of the Kingdom reinforces principles of solidarity and peace among all.
Turning to the role of Bahrain’s business families, His Royal Highness highlighted their important role in supporting the Kingdom’s economy, and their contribution to trade and investment growth. His Royal Highness stressed that continuing to increase private sector activity would help to create more employment opportunities and support the Kingdom’s economic diversification strategy.
The hosts and guests of the Majlises expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’ visit, and highlighted His Royal Highness’ clear commitment to protecting unity among Bahrain’s communities.
