KUWAIT: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) called on passengers departing from Kuwait International Airport to cooperate with the airport's authorities for better service. With the advent of the holy month of Ramadan and summer traveling season, passengers are advised to commit to traveling procedures, especially in carrying their personal passports, IDs, and boarding passes to the country of destination, the Directorate said in a press statement Thursday.

Passengers must also be present at the check-in counters three hours prior to departure in order to end traveling procedures earlier and avoid delays, the statement said. Luggage counters will close 60 minutes prior to departure time, it noted, adding that carry-on bags must not be over 115 cm in size and over five kilos in weight.

In case of loss of luggage at the airport, the directorate advises passengers to check with the loss of luggage section at the Public Administration of Civil Aviation, and contact the following numbers: 24710683, or fax: 24744396. - KUNA
