Khober United emerge victorious in `The Karkala Super Cup-2014;

Dammam: The Karkala super cup 2014 knock-out cricket tournament was organized by the KASA (Karkala Association Saudi Arabia) under the sponsorship of Al Jazeera Ambitions Factory & SAB GEN CONT EST.
The tournament which began at SABSA ground Al Raka at Dammam. On November 14th 2014 one day tournamentTeams were divided into 2 group’s .semifinal and final matches played under the floodlight.
Total 14 teams are invited to play this tournament from Riyadh Dammam al-khobar, & jubail strong teams participated in this tournament.
Final match between khobar united VS SAB warriors SAB warriors won the toss and elected to fieldfirst. With a splendid start by the opener’sToufeeq and Fayaz, khobar united managed to score 73 runs in 10 overs loss of 7 wickets. Khobar united Faisal has excellent bowling picked 3 wickets in final match.
In reply sab warriors had a bad start and they lost their wickets in regular intervals. Iqbal 24 runs made in just 16 balls help of 2 sixes and 1 boundary and Thayab hard hitter batsman from sab he has bring back the match help of 2 maximum sixes just in 7 balls he made 18 runs. Sab warriors managed to get 70 runs in 10 overs loss of 8 wickets. The fantastic performance given by the players of both teams indeed proved to be eyeful and thoroughly enthralled the cricket loving fans and viewer in the ground.
At the same time Karkala association Saudi Arabia organized another match for the 2nd runner up trophy between khobar united vs BMC khobar (khobar united won by 4 runs enter in final) man of the match in semifinal Mansor from khobar united.Sabwarriors vs ExpertiseJubail(Sab Worriers won by 8 runs enter in final) man of the match Mutthalif from Sab Warriors. Semifinal looser for the third place played between BMC vs Expertise, Expertise won the match by 9 runs.
Soon after the completion of final match, there was a prize destitution ceremony Br. Ibraimkader (committee Member) inaugurated the ceremony. Chief guest KASA President Mr. Shamsheer, Director of AL Jazeera Mr. Ismail, Director of SAB Gen con Est. Mr. Salauddin Salman, SITCO General Manager Mr. Ibrahim, SABSA President Mr.Farooq, MASA EX President Mr. Ravi Karkera, JF EX President Mr. Mansour Ali, JFEx-President of Riyadh Mr. Mubeen (Suliya) & JF Ex NRCC Ameer Mr. ShahulHameed were honored.
