Honest man rewarded by Sharjah Police; Man returns more than Dh10,000

Sharjah: Dileep Kiloth, an Indian man, was awarded an appreciation certificate by Sharjah Police on Sunday morning for his honesty,

A wallet containing more than Dh10,000, in addition to an official document and bank cards, were found lying on the ground in Al Dhaid city of Sharjah.

Keloth spotted them and handed over the wallet to the police.

Colonel Haran Al Kitbi, acting director of Central Region Police, and Major Abdullah Al Zaabi, manager of support services branch at the Central Region Police Department, awarded Kiloth and said that this award comes within the framework of activating a partnership between the community and Sharjah Police as well as spreading the spirit of cooperation in order to establish a secure and safe society.

Col Al Kitbi praised Kiloth’s honesty and referred to him as a role model for others.
