'Family Village', loving home gift of holy month for orphans in Dubai

DUBAI - His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, today opened the 'Family Village' headquarters in Dubai's Al Warqa area.

The Family Village is a Dh156 million unique charity project that will ensure social, psychological, and economic stability for orphans.

The project was chosen among thousands of suggestions and proposals made by the public as part of Shaikh Mohammad’s online initiative that called on people to suggest Ramadan initiatives.

Shaikh Mohammed unveiled the memorial plaque in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Family Village and other dignitaries and government officials.
