Government to ban flex, plastics soon
Bengaluru: State government is all set to ban flex boards and plastic in the state. An order will be passed soon regarding the issue.

The decision has been taken by the CM Sidharamaiah in the meeting held with the BBMP officials. The decision has come after the high court had repeatedly warned state authorities on the menace of flex boards.

Flex and plastics will be banned in Bengaluru in an experimental phase. Later the ban will be extended to the entire state. The law breakers will be punished and also the manufacturers of flex boards will also be entitled for punishment. However flex can be installed in some situations but as an advertisement after obtaining the license, said CM in the pressmeet.
