Yeddyurappa probes CBI inquiry to resolve De-notification issue
Suttur: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Wednesday January 22 participated in Shivarathreshwara Jatra celebrations at Suttur.

Addressing the reporters, he said, it is Siddaramaiah who indiscriminately de-notified the government acquired land in Bengaluru.

He alleged, “CM Siddaramaiah with an intention to hide his mistakes and misdeeds is accusing his predecessors, particularly me.”

“It is chief minister's prerogative to de-notify the acquired land in selective genuine cases”, he claimed pointing out no chief minister in the past has resorted to such a large scale de-notifications that too indiscriminately.

Yeddyurappa disclosed that 81 acres of land was de-notified during H D Kumaraswamy period, 53 acres of land was de-notified during governor's rule and 57 acres of land was de-notified during his period. "It was during Siddaramaiah's period more than 700 acres of land was de-notified" he said challenging Siddaramaiah to order a CBI inquiry into the de-notification issue.

Earlier the CID which was probing a denotification case involving former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, had sent its report on the Rs 100 crore deal to the government stating that the complaint made by the former CM is false, making him liable to be booked, for which Yeddyurappa challenged  Siddaramaiah to order a CBI inquiry.

A match of ‘Kushti’ was also held during the celebration and food was severed to the public.
