Hindu Samajotsava: Togadia banned from entering Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Police have banned the entry of Vishwa Hindu Parishat leader Pravin Togadia from February 5 to 10.
The decision was made to avoid any uneasiness in the city due to Hindu Samajotsava that was scheduled on February 8 in National college. Pravin Togadia was the chief guest in the programme. The police have took the precautionary step as Togadia is (in) famous for his communal speeches which could create communal tension in the region.
Bengaluru police commissioner MN Reddy has ordered the ban on the Hindu leader.
