Animal keeper attacked by safari lions in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: In a shocking incident on Monday an animal-keeper was attacked by safari lions at Bannerghatta Biological Park when he was cleaning a neighbouring enclosure. Lack of locking facilitied has been cited as the reason for the attack.

The victim identified as Krishna has suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to Apollo hospital.

The incident brings into focus the level of security and preparedness at the zoos in the country. In September last year, a youth was mauled to death by a white tiger when he fell into the moat inside its enclosure at the National Zoological Park in New Delhi.
