IAS officer DK Ravi found dead in Bengaluru

Young IAS officer DK Ravi was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his St. John's Wood apartment in Kormangla, Bengaluru.
His body was found hanging from the ceiling at his apartment. The Incident occurred at Madiwala police station limits.
Three unidentified men allegedly entered his apartment posing as tax officials.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner M N Reddi said that prima facie it seems to be a case of suicide.
He added that an SIT team has been formed under the supervision of DCP Rohini Katoch to look into the case.
Ravi had served as the DC of Kolar. He had run a crusade against illegal sand mining. He had also exposed several caes of tax evasion by top builders. He had recovered several encroached lands and lakes in Kolar.
Born on June 10, 1979, DK Ravi became an IAS officer in 2009. Home Ministre KJ George is taking stock of the situation. Top politicos have also rushed to the spot.
