Sanjevaani founder B.S Mani demises

Bengaluru: Founder of Sanjevaani evening daily B.S Mani (78) expired on Sunday May 3 at his residence in C.V Raman Nagar here.

He was suffering from health problems and was being treated in the house since many months. On Sunday at around 8.45pm he breathed his last, his family members told.

Sanjevaani was the first ever evening daily to be published in the state. He started the daily in Hubballi and later extended its branch in Bengaluru and in many other parts of the state.

He has left behind his wife, son and three daughters. His last rites will be conducted after the arrival of his daughter who is staying in USA, it’s been told.
