Heavy rainfall creates havoc in Badiadka

Badiadka: The heavy downpour in Delamapdy created havoc in the region. Due to heavy rain and wind a branch of a tree fell on the house belonged to Baby wife of Mudda near Adoor caused damages to the house. Rs. 1 lakh loss estimated due to the incident.

Electric wiring of pump shed of Narayana Balchappada in Kayyaru Uppala charred due to lightning. Wiring of the house of Philip D’Souza of Kayyar, electric appliances of the house of retired post master Narayan were completely damaged in the incident. The house of nagara sabha worker Karthikeyan in Raktheshwari Gudde in Barkod near Aerial collapsed due to heavy rainfall. Fortunately no one was inside the house during the incident.
