Kasaragod: The Hosadurg first class court has declared Vishwa Hindu Parishad international president Praveen bhai Togadia as absconder as he failed to appear before court in connection with a case.
In spite of warrants including a non-bailable one issued, Togadia is said to have failed to appear in court. Taking a serious view of the matter, the court has now declared Togadia an absconder.
At the previous hearing, the NBW had been issued. When the matter came up for hearing on Friday, the police submitted in the court that they had not been able to trace. So he was declared an absconder.
Hosadurga police had booked Togadia for inflammatory speech in Kanhangad on April 30, 2011. He is also facing cases for hate speeches in other police stations in Kerala
