25 sacs of pan products seized in Kasargod
Kasargod: Manjeshwar police have seized 25 sacs of banned pan masala products which were kept in mill board boxes. The accused were trying to transport the pan masala in the guise of tea powder.

The pan masala products were being carried in the Kerala state corporation bus plying from Mangaluru to Ernakulam. Accused had convinced the bus staff that they were carrying the tea powder.

Police while checking the bus smelled the pan products and seized the gunny bags.

The names of places like Cochin, Shornooru and Ernakulam were written on the boxes and it is suspected that the products were meant to be sold in those places.
