Thiruvananthapuram: Accusing the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre of pursuing communal agenda, KPCC President V M Sudheeran on Tuesday said that it has stooped to such a level that now it had insulted Mother Teresa.
Narendra Modi's Government was supporting and encouraging Sangh parivar-led 'communal forces' and 'insulting' Mother Teresa (by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat) was the latest result of that, he said here after a meeting of KPCC.
The BJP leaders were only trying to escape by simply issuing statements against such incidents, he said, adding, that their objective was to gain political mileage from the situation.
Criticising the economic policies of the NDA Government, he said KPCC would start its second phase of agitation against the Centre on March 24.
