Woman dies after falling from the giant wheel, child injured
Kasargod: A woman died and an infant was injured as they fell down from giant wheel in Palakunnu in Bekal.

The deceased has been identified as Fathima (32) wife of Abbas from Bandadka Eniyadi. The injured child is 11 month old Majida.

The family had gone to visit the expo which had come to town. Fathima and her child sat in the giant wheel and when it was on move, they suddenly fell down. Seriously injured woman was rushed to a hospital in Kasargod and was later taken to Mangaluru hospital. But she breathed her last on the way.

 

The injured child is being treated in a private Kasargod hospital. Bekal police have registered the case.
