Kerala SSLC results out, 97.99% pass

Thiruvannathapuram: Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb announced the results of SSLC exams here on Monday evening. The state recorded an overall pass percentage of 97.99.
A total of 4,68,273 students appeared for the exam this year out of the registered 4,68,466 students. Of them, 4,58,841 students qualified for higher studies. This time, Kerala registered a pass percentage of 97.99, which is 2.52 per cent than last year.
As many as 12,287 students secured A+ in all subjects. Kannur recorder the highest pass percentage among districts (97.99).
Of the 464 students attended the exam from Middle East, 461 passed.
The SAY exam for those candidates failed in one subject will be held from May 11 to 16. The application for the same can be submitted from April 28. The application for the admission to Plus One courses can be submitted from May 6.
The results were approved by the exam board on Sunday afternoon itself. It was decided not to go for moderation.
Ever since grades replaced marks, moderation have been done away with. The success rate for the last 10 years have been over 90 percent. The results will include the grades and marks. The grades have already been uploaded with the exam centres.
