Gulf businessman dies in road mishap in Kasargod

Kasargod: A person was died in a ghastly accident between a car and van near Poyinachi here on Monday April 27.
The deceased has been identified as Jayaprakash (36) resident of Kasargod. He was a businessman in Gulf country and had come to his hometown recently for house warming ceremony of his newly built house.

On Monday he was returning in his car after dropping his friend at Koovathotti. A van plying from Kannur to Goa collided with his car face on. As a result Jayaprakash was severely injured as was rushed to nearby hospital. But he died after failing to respond to the treatment.

A case has been filed at Vidyanagar police station.
