Mumbai: Change is the principle of life. It is God Shani’s grace that this committee has united three generations said renowned orator Ravi R Anchan.

He said this in his presidential speech in the stage program  on the third and last day of 60th annual Mahapooja organised by Shri Shani Mahatma Pooja committee in Irani Colony in Malad (E) on March 22.

.Man is not born with knowledge but this environment makes him intelligent. The speech I did in my teenage in this committee became very fruitful for me in my entire life. Now I can make speeches in many languages and anywhere. We can observe our culture and affability here, he said.

Sushil D. Kodavekar, commissioner of  Nanded Waghala city corporation was present as chief guest.

The award winners in sports and educational field were honoured on this occasion by Ravi R. Anchan, Vedamurthy K. Govind Bhat, B. Divakar D. Shetty, Rajesh Patil.

Day long religious programs were organized and devotional songs program was held in the evening by Ganesh Ermal. Mahapuja was held on March 20 morning. Ganahoma, Navaka pradana homa, Panchamritha, Navagriha Shanti, Shani Shanti, Navaka Kalashabhisheka were performed.

A grand procession was taken in the evening starting from the temple passing through Kailasa Puri, Hanuman Mandir, Govind Nagar, Ambamaatha temple, Satsanga Bharati and reached the temple.
