Mumbai: Rohit Rao, born in Mumbai and hailed to America for higher studies has made his mother land proud as the University there, has offered him facilities to do his Ph.D free of cost.

Rohit is doing his masters in IT in Maryland University. And he is the one who secured 105 points leaving ten thousand students behind. The university noticed his brilliance and has returned his fees and assured him facilities to continue his education free of cost.

His father is the president of Mumbai Teeya Welfare Association, Roopesh Rao and mother Swaroopa Rani. Both are invited by the University for Rohit’s Convocation
