New Delhi: Two BJP members today entered the Lok Sabha chamber with 'gulal' smeared on their faces, prompting the Chair to politely turn them away.
Jagdambika Pal and another BJP member entered the House with 'gulal' (dry colour powder) smeared on their faces when the Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill was being discussed in the House.
Though Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai did not make any observation, he was clearly heard telling his aide, "it is not correct."
Soon, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh (BJP) approached Pal and asked him to leave the House. Pal and the other member, who could not be identified, then moved out of the House.
