Delhi police submits report on farmer’s suicide

Delhi: Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Thursday said that a report on a farmer’s suicide at an AAP rally here on Wednesday had been submitted to the home ministry.
“We have submitted a report on the incident to the home ministry,” Mr. Bassi told the media.
He added that an FIR had been registered on Wednesday.
Gajendra Singh, who hailed from Rajasthan, hanged himself from a tree in central Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on Wednesday.
He was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
