New Delhi: In an another setback for Arvind Kejriwal, now wife of an AAP official claimed that the Delhi Chief Minister has ruined their lives and careers. Prerna Prasad, wife of Ankit Lal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) social media head, hurled such serious allegations against Kejriwal. Prerna accused the Delhi CM of making his own political "career by destroying the career and family life of many youngsters". Ankit, who left his job with an IT company in order to help AAP, got married to Prerna in 2013.

Now his wife claimed, "Kejriwal is such a manipulator that he used my husband Ankit Lal to get my Facebook account deactivated because I was speaking truth." Prerna also claimed that Kejriwal and other members of Aam Aadmi Party now have been ignoring Ankit, who has sacrificed his career for the party. In a series of post on social networking site, Prerna wrote, "True leaders are those who have the guts to face criticism and improve. The Rest are loyalists, blind followers and chamchas (cronies)." Meanwhile, media report quoted Ankit as saying, "I would not like to comment on this issue but yes my wife has made such comments."

Ankit earlier had made headlines when a news agency, ANI, accused Ankit of distorting one tweet of the agency. The controversial tweet was posted on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The tweet went viral on micro-blogging site Twitter and ANI had filed a police complaint with the cyber cell after the fake tweet disguising as a credible ‘news tweet'.
