Lenovo today launched in India a range of PCs, tablets and smartphones unveiled at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) earlier this year. At the head of this pack is the new Yoga 3 Pro, their flexible tabtop, and including their ThinkPad range of PCs. Speaking at the launch, Lenovo’s Managing Director, Amar Babu, said, “We want to give our customers the best user experience and rich applications across all smart connected devices. The products showcased today are a testament to our focus on innovation.” The Yoga 3 Pro, currently the world’s thinnest tablet, is the latest in Lenovo’s Yoga series, marked by the flexibility of use. The tablet, with its hinged design  can be used in four modes; laptop, stand, tent and tablet. The Yoga 3 Pro will be available only at Lenovo SMart Connected Devices stores, thedotstore.com and Croma outlets across the country, as well as through their website.

The Yoga Pro 3 is thinner than a pencil (6.4mm) and extremely light, perfect for travel use. The 360 degree hinge allows different usage modes, and still allows the screen to lie completely flat if needed. A 13.3” 3200x1800 QHD+ touchscreen, promises you the best viewing experience, as well as a Kindle-like paper effect for reading. A 44Whr Li-Polymer battery promises a 7.2 hour battery life, and the in-built JBL stereo speakers sound promising. The Yoga Pro 3 will be available for a hefty Rs 1,14,990.

Other tablets launched are the Yoga Tablet 2, Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, with a QHD screen, 8W sound system, and in-built Pico projector for all your movie watching needs, the Yoga 2 AnyPen, that allows you to take notes on the tablet using any regular ball point pen or pencil, and the Tab 2 A7-30, an 8.9mm thin phablet  with 7” screen an sim functionality. The Yoga Tablet 2 , Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, and Yoga 2 AnyPen will available on Flipkart for Rs 28,990, Rs 49,490, and Rs 22,499 respectively.The Tab 2 A7-30 will be available later this month at Rs 8,500 for the 2G version and  Rs 11,800 for the 3G version.

In the smartphone sector, Lenovo released their P90, with a (1920x1080p) 5.5” screen, Quad-core 18.3GHz Intel Atom Z3560 processor, PowerVR G6430, and 2GB RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of storage (non-expandable), a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera, 4,000mAh battery and running Android 4.4 KitKat. Also released was the VIBE Xtension Selfie Flash, a pocket-sized flash that plugs into your audio jack to give you better selfie lighting.
