Bail plea rejected for ganja case accused

Udup:i 2JMFC Court  dismissed the bail plea of the accused in ganja case, Bishal Khan aged 23 hailing from Jharkand here on Tuesday.

The accused was arrested for possessing 610 gm of ganja, besides cultivating ganja saplings in his apartment. He was produced before Udupi 2JMFC Court on March 18 and the court had granted him bail.

However, public prosecutor B Prakashchandra Shetty appealed before the same court highlighting the repercussions following the release of the accused on bail.  He appealed that how the accused was responsible for making people get addicted to the narcotics and destroying their lives. After hearing the appeal, Udupi 2JMFC Court has dismissed the bail plea of the accused.
