LG G4 goes official in India for Rs.51,000

South Korean giant LG on Friday formally announced the launch of its flagship G4 handset in India. The LG G4 (dual SIM, dual LTE) smartphone is now available in India at a price of Rs.51,000.

The LG G4 was initially launched in April. Meanwhile, the company had also started taking pre-orders for the device in India at the beginning of June.

The flagship LG G4 has a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum display with a 1440x2560 pixels resolution that roughly translates to 538ppi. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM.

It comes with 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card slot. The dual SIM device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with the company's custom UX 4.0 UI on top.

The handset sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, optical image stabilization and LED flash. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera on-board.

The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and supports fast charging technology.  

The LG G4 will be available in handcrafted, genuine full grain leather and will come in three colors: brown, black and red.
