Notorious Interstate thief arrested by CCB police

Mangaluru: The CCB police of Mangaluru have arrested interstate thief Mohammad Rafeek alias Rickshaw Rafeek(26) resident of Bantwal Benjanpadav.

He was accused of much theft in temples in and around Mangaluru and Kerala as well. Even kidnap case was booked on him.

He was arrested once but later came out on bail. Warrant was issued to arrest him in Mulki, Mangaluru Kunadapura, Udupi and Konaje.

In 2008 he had robbed business man in from Kerala. He was accused for thefts in Montugoli, Kumbalapadav and Konaje temples. Also had stolen statue from a temple in Kundapur. Also had robbed a house in Mulki.

He is in custody for more interrogation.
