Deepak SP & Ajmal Saed Elected convenors of Nama Tuluveru UAE for the year 2015-16

Nama Tuluveru under the current leadership of Sudhakar Alva called for a meeting on Saturday 16th May, 2015 at Quick Bite Restaurant, Muteena-Deira, Dubai and was attended by most of the executive members. The meeting started at 7.30 PM to discuss the future programme and leadership changes for the year 2015.
After successfully completing six years of existence in supporting Tulu language and culture in this part of the world, Nama Tuluveru unanimously elected Deepak S.P. & S.M. Ajmal as for the first time, twin Conveners for the year 2015-16 to lead the non-profit organization.
The immediate decision was taken because of Sudhakar Alva's relocation to India and since he is unable to dedicate his full time to the organizational activities. He has voluntarily opted and requested to form a new committee with the nod of the current committee members in the meeting. While extending his full support to the new Committee he promised his commitment towards Nama Tuluveru and its future activities at all times. He along with other Committee members wished them good luck.
As the very first programme, the new committee has decided to hold IFTAR 2015 programme on Thursday the 25th June, 2015 followed by BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN during the Ramadan period.
Nama Tuluveru also will be holding 'Tuluvere Parba 2015' in conjunction with various community organizations this year on Friday the 6th of November, 2015. This time more participants are expected and preparations will be done much earlier to see the smooth functioning of the programme with utmost care.
New Committee with youngsters and ladies members are fully prepared to host good programmes with new ideas this year.
The meeting concluded with refreshments and vote of thanks.
