Woman goes missing a day before marriage

Puttur: A day before the wedding ceremony, the woman who was supposed to enter wedlock, reportedly went missing from her house in Kadaba, Puttur.
According to the reports, the marriage of Dr. Kripa, daughter of Nityananda Gowda was supposed to be held on Sunday at Lord Panmchalingeshwara Temple in Panja with another doctor from Kadaba.
The bride who actively participated in the mehendi function, which was held on Saturday night, reportedly went missing when all in the family were asleep the same night.
The members of the family woke up to the shock the next day. Subsequently, the family called up the bridegroom about the incident and called off the marriage.
It’s learnt that Dr. Kripa had developed relationship with a fellow doctor, while she was in Bengaluru. It is suspected that she has eloped with him.
Later, the bride’s father filed a complaint in Kadaba station about the missing case.
Meanwhile, groom’s family filed another complaint, stating the family of the bride of cheating and monitory loss. The complaint also states that the bride and her family has put them in shame.
