Society must give prominence to farming, education and spiritual thinking: Nalin Kumar

Balkunje: Nalin Kumar Kateel on Monday graced the occasion of inaugural function of St. Paul’s church Balkunje which is renovated lately. He said that society must give prominence to farming, education and spiritual thinking.

Centenary function and inauguration of the church was done by religious head of the region Rev.F. Alosyious Pavs D’souza. He addressed the crowd later and said St.Paul exemplified humanitarian service. Previous day of the centenary function, religious programs commenced and Catholic and non Catholics participated in ‘shramadan’ voluntarily. This shows brotherhood and harmony amongst people. Real life is in living together he said.

Later donors who donated for church and contractors were felicitated.

Bethany group head Bhagini Vilbart, B.S, Youth and Fisheries minister K.Abhayachandra Jain, Mumbai Businessman Virar Shanker Shetty, anchorman of centenary committee Nelson Lobo,  secretary Anita D’souza, church’s caretaker committee vice-pres. Fredrick Pinto, Secretary Nancy were at hand.

Head priest of Balkunje church F.Michel D’silva gave an introductory speech.
