Karkala: Purpose of Mahamastakabishekha is to spread the message of peace and sacrifice to the entire world. It’s privilege to say that the city and roads surrounding the area is developed because of this occasion. Said Secretary of the committee Dr. M.N.Rajendra Kumar in a press meet called upon to inform about the arrangements of mahamastakabhishekha. Will commence from 21st to 31st Jan.
18 roads have been developed till now. He thanked State Government for releasing 13.5 crores for this occasion. Tower buttresses work is completed and it’s made out of iron. In order to save the forest this decision was taken.500 people can stand in a floor at a time.
To watch the abhishekha 6 feet tall stage has been built over the top of the hill, which can consist 2000 people.CC cams have been fixed. Two LED screens have been arranged. Two way roads to the hill top have been done to reduce the traffic. 30 vehicles can be parked at the hill.
To maintain security police squads, fire brigades, health officials will be arranged. Road from kariyallu to anantashayana is widened. Two tankers will be arranging to store the dravyas collected from the abhisheka and will be discarded in a remote place.
18 Basady’s will be provided drinking water and water facility to all, temporary toilet facility will also be arranged.Media center is arranged for the reporters and schools and colleges are provided for the people who wants a stay. He informed in the meeting.
