Mangaluru: Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan was in the city on Sunday November 9 to attend some family function here. Aishwarya Rai was born in Mangaluru on November 1, 1973. She pursued her carrier in modeling and went on to become one of the top actresses of Indian film industry. Aishwarya was accompanied by her mother Brinda Rai, daughter Aradhya and a security guard.
After attending the programme they checked in to leave by the SpiceJet flight to Mumbai at 5-30 pm. Aishwarya had kept her visit to her home city secret to avoid any unwanted crowd of people. It is thought that they came to attend a private function or to visit her mother's house near Kasaragod. The visit is thought to have been treated as a secret to avoid needless crowd of admirers and attention.
