MESCOM Engineer murder case: Police take accused to the crime spot
Mangaluru: In the process of murder investigation of executive MESCOM engineer, Jagadish Rao (55) at his residence, the Kadri Police took the two accused to the house of the engineer at Kadri Kambala and near by places to retrieve more evidences in the case. 

SI Rafiq of Kadri police station, along with other police took the accused Siddappa (22) alias Siddu, resident of Ilangovan Koppa, Soudathi taluk, Belgaum and Rafiq (27), resident of Sayed Fir street, Nitoli, Davanagere and even got into the nearby sewage channel and searched for the murder weapons thrown in the drain.

The police sources have not disclosed anything but according to few sources the police have been able to collect some strong evidence in their search. The curious bystanders followed the police during the investigation and observed everything.

The accused were arrested on October 6.

On September 21 Jagadish was murdered in the wee hours in his residence at Bejai. It is said that two persons had allegedly entered the house through the terrace and killed Jagadish by slitting his throat.
