Case filed against Pramod Muthalik at Kadri police station
Mangaluru: Kadri police have registered a case against Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Muthalik for his call to chop off the hands of rapists. The police had treated the above statement of Muthalik as an attempt to disrupt peace and instigate violence.  After obtaining permission from the court, the policemen registered the case suo motu.

It may be recalled that on Sunday November 16, Muthalik had called upon people to chop off hands of rapists. He also had stated that he would be reimbursing court costs of those who follow this advice while speaking in a press meet at Arya Samaja here.
