DC held up a progress meet about the development of Shiradhi ghat repair

Mangaluru: due to repair work in Shiradi ghat, vehicles are not allowed to travel through the ghat. So vehicles which travel from Hasan and Bengaluru are using Charmadi ghat which is under repair too.
DC held a meeting regarding the repair work progress with the officials and orders them to repair both the routes at the earliest. Also he gave strict orders to the NH authorities to assign sigh boards and hoardings at charmadi ghat.
Even after banning heavy vehicles in the ghat, they still are using the route. He ordered R.T.O. officials to take action against them. Also asked to arrange cranes on both the sides in case of accident emergence.
SP Sharanappa, R.T.O. officers, officers of NH authority and officers of K.S.R.S.T.C attended the meeting.
