Bikers collide in Nanthoor junction: Five persons injured including woman
Mangaluru: A mother and son were seriously injured in a road mishap that occurred in Nanthoor junction here on Wednesday January 14.

The incident took place when three bikes speeding from different directions collided with eachother. The woman and her son was crossing the road, a biker knocked the woman and the boy other two bikers also lost control over their vehicle and collide with the former bike.

Totally five people injured in the incident out of which the condition of the woman and the two bikers is said to be critical. They were admitted in a private hospital.

Eye witnesses blame rash riding of the biker for the accident. A case has been filed in Kadri police station.

Due to unscientific construction of a circle and unsystematic traffic in Nanthoor junction, pedestrians face danger every time while crossing the road. The over speed of the vehicles in a major cause for accidents in this area. Traffic authorities have to look into the problem and find a solution soon, said a local.
