Bike accident: Youth dies on the spot

Mangaluru: A young man lost his life in a brutal road accident near Mahakali Temple in Derebail here late night on Thursday January 14.
The deceased has been identified as Shivaraj Shetty (21), a resident of Maryhill.
Shivaraj was riding from Akash Bhavan to Kuntikan. He lost control over the bike near Mahakali Temple and hit against a stone. As a result of the accident Shivaraj was thrown on the road and his head hit against a stone. Shavaraj died on the spot, it is said.
Over speed was aid to be the cause for the accident. Surathkal traffic police have registered a case.
