Residents of Jokatte protest against MRPL coak and sulfar unit
Mangaluru: Locals of Jokatte continued their agitation against MRPL. The residents of Jokatte grew angry over the construction of new road to the coak and sulfar unit of MRPL and protested on Saturday January 17. Police rushed to the spot and warned the agitators to drop the protest or will have to face legal action.

The third unit of Coak and Sulfar division of MRPL is causing many problems to the locals. Many protests and rallies been carried out earlier demanding the closure of the division. The appeals and the memorandums submitted to the representatives have found place in the dust bins.

MRPL and The SEZ are toying with the lives of the people. These factories are not paying heed to the problems of the people. Anxious people often protested against the insensitive administration of these factories. But the problems still remain as day light.
